From Wish to Reality

Our FROM WISH TO REALITY scholarship program was created to help support foster and underprivileged youth participate in extracurricular activities in the community. BB4Kids raises funds to go towards the scholarship program through cash donations and fundraiser events, then partners with other community organizations and agencies to distribute the funds to the specific youth population they serve.

Once funds have been raised, the BB4Kids Board meets and determines how much funding will be set aside for each partner agency. The agencies are then notified of the amounts available to them and present a list of "wishes" from their youths. BB4Kids is open to considering any type of activity a child wishes to participate in which typically include sports, art, music, tutoring, camps, classes and clubs.

BB4Kids works with many partner agencies including:

  • Multnomah County Child Welfare - assisting in-home and out-of-home foster youth
  • Clackamas County Child Welfare - assisting in-home and out-of-home foster youth
  • Eastham Community Schools - assisting foster, low income and homeless youths
  • Wilsonville School District - assisting low income youth receiving free or reduced fee lunch
  • Canby School District - assisting low income youth receiving free or reduced fee lunch

Wish To Reality Policies and Procedures:

  • Under certain circumstances, we may be able to provide services for under school aged children.
